Dan Hodges Music LLC opened its doors on April 15, 2008. Operating from just off the round-a-bout on world famous Music Row, DHM builds music careers and catalogs in conjunction with its clients through the development of their songs and networking of their writers. 2016 marked the opening of DHM Endeavour in Australia with the signing of Aussie artist/writer Jared Porter.

In his 28-year career in the music business, Dan has worked for BMG Music Publishing, FAME Music and Murrah Music. Hodges has successfully placed songs on albums generating over 10 million units in sales, including the hits “Where Would You Be” by Martina McBride and “I’m A Survivor” by Reba McEntire (TV theme for REBA), Billy Currington’s ASCAP 2008 Country Song of the Year “Good Directions” and songs recorded by many other major label acts.

In addition to songplugging, Dan discovered and signed to their first publishing deals country hitmakers Josh Kear(2013 ASCAP Songwriter of the year), Chris Tompkins(13 #1 Country Songwriter), Victoria Banks(Canadian Country Star and Hit Nashville writer) and Rachel Thibodeau (writer of the 3 week #1, ASCAP 2008 Song of the Year “Good Directions” for Billy Currington). During his time at Murrah Music, he worked with Luke Bryan for cowrites and pitching.

Dan is a producer as well and his production credits include most notably the XM radio top 5 hit “Mandolin Rain” by Josh Kelley.

Since inception, DHM has had songs recorded by Rascal Flatts, Randy Hauser, Clay Walker, Martina McBride, Craig Campbell, Keith Urban, Swon Brothers, Brad Paisley, Chris Young, Reba McEntire, Lee Brice, Josh Kelley, and Kelsea Ballerini’s #1 “dibs”. So far in 2019, DHM has had songs recorded by Trace Adkins and Reba McEntire for their new projects.
