Jane Bach

Born and raised in NYC, Jane is a thirty- eight year, veteran Nashville musician, producer and hit songwriter. This grammy nominated, multiple award-winning  songwriter has had her songs recorded  by the likes of Reba McEntire,  JoDee Messina, Collin Raye, Tammy Wynette, The Oak Ridge Boys, T.G. Sheppard and Opry legend Jack Greene, Lindsay Price, Charles (Chip) Esten, as well as numerous other artists, and has had hit records in the U.S., Canada, France and Holland,  among other releases worldwide. She has also written songs that were placed in radio and TV, and TV commercials.  (She wrote the theme song for the MTV show “Parental Control” that was used for 8 seasons.) And had the theme song for the major ad campaign of American Family Insurance.

Some of her hits include the Billboard  #1 song,  ”The Last One to Know," recorded  by Reba McEntire,  Her song“Just Enough Love," was the last Billboard number one record for country music legend Ray Price.   She has had  top 10, 20 and 40 Billboard singles and has had number one songs on the New Music Weekly chart….”I Cross that Bridge”, and “Days Like These”.

"Dare to Dream," recorded by JoDee Messina, earned her yet another ASCAP award for having written "one of the most performed songs of the year."  Songs recorded by American Idol’s Laney Meredith.  ”Mercy," co-written with Lindsay Price (starring on NBC's Lipstick Jungle, and ABC's Eastwick and Beverly Hills 90210) was  featured on the ABC Family Channel show Wildfire;  "Another Chance,", was also recorded by Lindsay Price,  and was featured on  ABC Family’s Wildfire”, as well as USA’s “Dead Zone”.  Along with  a song placement on the ABC-TV show “Nashville”,  she had three singles released on Charles (Chip) Esten, star of the hit TV Show “Nashville”, (Deacon Clayborne) that she wrote with Esten.

Jane is the author of the workbook "Songwriting and the Music Business," as well as the popular teacher of her songwriting workshop. Having taught in Nashville, Austin, Los Angeles, and New York City,  as well as having taught a Master Class in songwriting at Vanderbilt University.

In 2015, Jane produced the album, “Ajaye Jardine”  that was considered for British Columbia Country Music Association, Album/EP of the Year… well a producing 11 EP’s/Albums on Sandra Piller, Cabaret/American Hit Parade.

In 2019, she produced the live show “Two Divas and a Primadonna” at the famed supper club, Feinstein’s 54 Below, in NYC.

Most recently, Jane has been spending her time between Nashville and Los Angeles, writing with and developing young singer/songwriters, performing in writers rounds,  and writing for TV.

Jane makes her home in Nashville with her husband, former NFL player with the Washington Redskins, Gary Bach.
